1. Who do you relate to most in the stories found in Mark 14:27-52 and why?
2. Peter was convinced he would not betray Christ. Why is it hard to face our sin?
3. Jesus asked for his closest followers to watch and pray with him. If Jesus, needs help like that, so do we. How can we watch and pray with each other in 2013?
4. How could we get away to pray during our week?
5. What are some hard times you have faced in life or might in the future?
6. Not only can we pray for each other in those hard times, but according to Hebrews 7:25 Jesus prays for his followers now. Read Hebrews 7:25, how can that comfort your soul?
7. Jesus faced a difficulty like no other at the garden in Mark 14. He knew where he was headed and made a choice to submit to the Father. And he then was betrayed and forsaken. Read Hebrews 4:14-16 what encouragement does this give the believer in difficult times?
